Patiorific!

This weekend we finally finished the patio. I am glad to have that done and I don't ever want to make another patio myself again. However, considering the money we saved doing this ourselves, I may have to...

Bricks before
We went from this...

Bricks after
...to this.

Starting to lay bricks
Once we got the foundation in it wasn't so bad...

Making some progress now.
...and went rather quickly.

Done!
And, we're done!

The Fireplace
The fireplace.

  1. looks awesome.. I built a brick patio last year, and it was a complete pain. Looks like you may have had an easier time of things.

  2. Oh this was a pretty big pain, and who knows if our foundation is deep enough? The pain may not be over!

Laurie came up with a list of yard projects for me to do this Spring, none of which i’ve done:)
