Back to work
This summer I feel like we've been slacking off on working on the house. I guess it's good to take a break every now and then, and admittedly we've been working more outside and enjoying the nice weather. But now that fall is coming I want to get back to work. I want to get the kitchen DONE and over with; it's been stagnating since we got the counter tops in (ie since it became usable again).
Look at that list on the right, six of the things are stuff that still has to get done in the kitchen! Well I'm determined to finish them off. The evenings this week I have been cutting out cement board for behind the counters which we'll be laying tile on top of. I have them all cut out now and will mount them tonight and tomorrow and then we'll begin tiling this weekend.

Been there, don’t that. Now if your like me you will finish the major stuff left to do, but procrastinate on one or two minor details that you will walk by for the next six months until eventually you will take five minutes to finish. now I’m to the point where I’m thinking some things need to be repainted or touched up. The work never ends.
