Allergy medication withdrawl?
I'm trying to wean myself off of allergy medication because I'm pretty sure that allergy season is over for me. However, when I stop taking Zyrtec for a few days my skin seems to get really itchy at times and no amount of scratching will make it stop.
What's that about?

— Tim Sep 25, 10:37 PM #Hi Matt..never experienced that…have you tried more than once…could it be something else? If not…try cutting the pill in half and weaning more slowly…this is very strange…even I haven’t experienced that one:-)
— Diane Sep 26, 06:43 AM #I’ve tried more than once, it seems like it is the allergy meds. I’m not sure if it somehow makes my skin less sensitive when I’m on it (and my nerves compensate) and then when I go off my skin gets oversensitive for a while until it can adjust or what.
