Vote Early
Today at lunch, Anne and I went and voted early. If you live in Milwaukee, you can go to the Zeidler Building (the ugly very vertical looking building just east of the city hall building) and vote early from now until the day before the election. There was no line when we went and it was a pretty quick procedure. We had submitted voter registrations the previous weekend at Palomino but they hadn't been put into the system yet, so we just re-registered at the polling place.
Now,if only there was some way to avoid all the political ads and other annoying garbage that has no relevance to us any longer.
Besides the presidential election – what else is on the local ballot?
— Dan Oct 10, 08:23 AM #On ours there were also a bunch of positions with only democrats running for them, so I wrote you in, Dan. And also a question about increasing the sales tax to lower the property tax. And one about requiring businesses to give sick leave or something.
